Whether they will support the proposal made by Dr. Morgenthaler and Dr. Demoret of the U.S.A. to the International Astronautical Federation that space laboratories should be developed under the direction of the United Nations.
§ THE MARQUESS OF LOTHIANThe proposal, which was put forward by two members of the Martin-Marietta Corporation in a non-Governmental forum is not before Her Majesty's Government or other Governments. Her Majesty's Government does, however, support the work of the United Nations in framing international regulations on the peaceful uses of Outer Space.
