§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will give an assurance not only that the Government's views on the financial aspects of local government reform will be published as soon as it has completed its studies of these matters but also that a statement in connection therewith will be made in the House of Commons.
