HC Deb 07 December 1970 vol 808 c48W
Mr. Mudd

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will examine the working of the Transport Act, 1968, which has led to high rates outwards from Cornwall of horticultural produce, and inward for the carriage of fertilisers, bulbs, etc., with a view to introducing amending legislation.

Mr. Peyton

The concession on drivers' hours announced in my answer to my hon. Friend the Member for Shipley (Mr. Fox) on 2nd December, should help horticulture in Cornwall.—[Vol. 807, c. 403–4.]
