§ Mr. Gwynoro Jonesasked the Secretary of State for Wales if he will give a breakdown, county by county, of the way the cut of £400,000 in principal roads in Wales is to be allocated.
§ Mr. Peter ThomasEstimated expenditure on the improvement of principal roads in Wales during 1970–71 is £4.1 million. Planned expenditure for 1971–72 will be reduced by £300,000 from £5.7 to £5.4 million. This will not be allocated to specific schemes but will be achieved by controlling the timing of new additions to the programme.
