§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for Employment when he expects to receive and publish the Report of the 449W National Board for Prices and Incomes on their inquiry into the contract cleaning industry; and, in view of the industrial unrest in this industry, if he will seek to expedite the publication of this report.
§ Mr. BryanMy right hon. Friend expects to receive this report in March, 1971, together with those of the two other current references involving low-paid workers. We do not think it would be desirable to ask the board for an earlier report on any of these interrelated references, which raise important and complex issues.
