HC Deb 03 December 1970 vol 807 c467W
Mr. Wilkinson

asked the Minister of Aviation Supply which type of airbus will be supplied by his Department to British European Airways; and whether, in view of his Department's choice, he will make a further statement on the question of Government funding for the BAC311 and its projected powerplant, the Rolls-Royce RB211/61.

Mr. Corfield

It is not the function of my Department to supply aircraft to civil airlines. With regard to the BAC311 and the RB211/61, I have nothing to add to the statement which I made in the House yesterday.—[Vol. 807, c. 1286–7.]
