HC Deb 02 December 1970 vol 807 cc377-8W
50. Sir F. Maclean

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what discussion he has had with the Scottish Transport Group with a view to the improvement of Clyde steamer services; and what their outcome has been.

Mr. Younger

I would refer my hon. Friend to the reply he received on 23rd July. My right hon. Friend will be considering the Scottish Transport Group's forward investment programme early next year. In the meantime, in consultation with the group, he is reviewing the future pattern and organisation of its shipping services as a whole.—[Vol. 804, c. 219.]
