Mr. William Hannan

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what was the number of juveniles, aged eight to 17 years, against whom a crime or offence was proved, with or without a finding of guilt, for each of the last five years at any convenient date in Scotland and in Glasgow, respectively.

The number of juveniles aged 8 and over but under 17 against whom a charge was proved with or without a finding of guilt in Scotland and Glasgow during the last five years is shown in the table below:
