asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer when he expects the first proof specimens of decimal currency to be on sale.

The Royal Mint are currently planning to issue a final £ s. d. proof set towards the end of 1971. This will probably be followed by a decimal proof set.

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if the first proof decimal sets to be sold will include Maundy money.

Present plans for the issue of United Kingdom proof sets do not include Maundy money.
