54. Mr. Hugh Jenkins

asked the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity whether, in the inquiries she is making in various sections of the film industry concerning the implementation of the report of the Monopolies Commission on films distribution and exhibition, she will seek the views of the trade unions concerned.

Mr. Dell:

Certain suggestion have been put to the signatories of the 1967 Statement of Intent which dealt with the matters on which the Monopolies Commission made recommendations. My Department would be glad during the course of the inquiries to receive the views of the trade unions concerned.
