HC Deb 30 April 1970 vol 800 c392W
Mr. Russell Johnston

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what improvements are proposed to the A.9 from Inverness to Perth; and by what dates particular villages' by-passses are estimated to be undertaken.

Mr. Ross:

Improvements estimated to cost over £ 600,000 are in progress or planned to start during the next two years. A comprehensive appraisal of this route is also being made to determine the nature and priority of further work, including village by-passes, but it is too early to say what particular schemes will be undertaken and when.
