HC Deb 29 April 1970 vol 800 c342W
Mr. Michael McNair-Wilson

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will categorise the types of noise offence for which persons were prosecuted in 1968 and 1969, and state how many of those prosecuted were found guilty.

Mr. Elystan Morgan:

In England and Wales the number of persons found guilty of offences under the Noise Abatement Act, 1960, were 640 in 1968 and 450 in 1969. The criminal statistics do not show the types of offence under the Act for which persons were proceeded against.
