§ 87. Mr. Grimondasked the Minister of Overseas Development what representations she has received from persons entitled to pensions from Her Majesty's Government in Zanzibar; and what answer she has sent.
§ Mrs. HartIn the last 12 months letters have been received from 15 locally292W recruited former officers of the Zanzibar Government about the cessation of their pension payments. These pensioners have no entitlement to pensions from Her Majesty's Government and have been informed that their pensions remain the responsibility of the overseas government, to whom repeated representations have been made, and continue to be made, on their behalf.
