asked the Secretary of State for Social Services how many patients can be dialysed each week with the accommodation and equipment at present available in the renal dialysis unit at the Royal Free Hospital, Hampstead; and what was the number treated in each of the past six weeks.

Dr. John Dunwoody:

I understand from the board of governors that a maximum of 40 patients could be treated and that, on average, 35 patients were treated over each of the last 6 weeks.
