§ Mr. Onslow
asked the Minister of Public Building and Works why he holds non-attributable Press briefings.

§ Mr. John Silkin:
To assist in explaining the policies of my Department. Such briefings are frequently requested by the Press.

§ Mr. Onslow
asked the Minister of Public Building and Works what estimate he has formed of the cost to his Department, since October, 1964, of non-attributable Press briefings.

§ Mr. John Silkin:
The cost is insignificant.
