§ Mr. Hugh Jenkinsasked the Minister of Technology whether he has agreed to pay part of the costs of surveying cathedrals on the Concorde test route; and whether he will extend this offer to all other buildings under the supersonic route.
§ Mr. Carmichael:We shall be taking measurements on cathedrals and a representative selection of other buildings on the Concorde test route. The Department will, where it considers it necessary, arrange for and meet the costs of producing surveys of these buildings. We do not propose to meet the costs of any other surveys.
