asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science whether he has received a reply from Norfolk County Council to his Department's letter of 4th February seeking clarification of the council's policy on the reorganisation of secondary education.

Miss Bacon:

In an interim reply of 23rd February, the authority said that it was hoping shortly to produce a full statement of its policy on secondary reorganisation. I hope that this will soon be available and that it will clarify the authority's intentions so that real progress can be made.
