HC Deb 24 April 1970 vol 800 cc172-3W
Mr. Speed

asked the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity what studies her Department is making into the possible implications for the United Kingdom of recent developments in the case law of the European Economic Community on restrictive industrial practices, details of which are in her possession.

Mr. Dell:

The Department keeps in close touch with decisions of the European Commission in the field of competition policy, both through our delegation in Brussels and through our representation on the O.E.C.D. Expert Committee on Restrictive Business Practices, and considers whether these would present problems for the United Kingdom if applied without modification in an enlarged community.
