§ Mr. Bradleyasked the Minister of Transport if he has now decided to use the powers provided by Section 53 of the Transport Act, 1968.
§ Mr. Mulley:After a careful review of the powers provided by Section 53(1) of the Transport Act, 1968 I have come to the conclusion that responsibility for Thos. Cook & Son Ltd. and the Transport Holding Company's other subsidiary companies is best left with the Holding Company. I do not, therefore, propose to make use of these powers.
