HC Deb 23 April 1970 vol 800 c156W
Q11. Mr. Rose

asked the Prime Minister how many hon. Members and Members of the House of Lords have made representations to him against the supply of tanks to Libya, or in favour of the supply of Chieftain tanks to Israel, during the past six months.

The Prime Minister:

Eighty-one hon. Members and Members of the House of Lords appended their signatures to a recent letter to me about this, and I understand that 13 others later expressed their wish to be associated with that letter. In addition, I have had a few separate letters on this matter.
