Whether it is their intention that the United kingdom should become a party to the New York Convention of the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards.

THE LORD CHANCELLOR (LORD GARDINER)

Yes, the Government intend to accede to this Convention if Parliament approves the necessary legislation, which will be introduced as soon as legislative time permits.
