§ Mrs. Ewingasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what is the total budget to be allocated to the Scottish Tourist Board in the current year; and what numbers of staff are employed in Scotland.
§ Mr. Ross:I would refer the hon. Member to the Supply Estimates for 1970–71, Class VI, 3, Subheads R1 to R3. The staff of the board currently numbers 45.
§ Mrs. Ewingasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what division of functions has been established between the Scottish Tourist Board and local tourist associations.
§ Mr. Ross:This is a matter for the Scottish Tourist Board to settle in accordance with Section 2(5) of the Development of Tourism Act 1969, and I understand that it has it under consideration.
