§ Mr. Alisonasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will publish in the OFFICIAL REPORT a table bringing up to date Tables 1, 6 and 7 of the additional tables on National Income and Expenditure shown in Economic Trends, October, 1969, and giving comparable figures for the years 1946, 1948, 1951 and 1969.
§ Mr. William Rodgers:I will consider whether the tables mentioned by the hon. Member should be extended as he suggests in a future edition of " Economic Trends ".
§ Mr. Alisonasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will publish in the OFFICIAL REPORT, a table showing at constant 1963 prices for the calendar years 1946, 1948, 1951 and 1958 to 1969, inclusive, and for the financial years 1958–59 to 1969–70, inclusive, public sector claims on resources defined on any convenient consistent basis, gross domestic product and gross national product, or as much of this information as is available.
§ Mr. Diamond:This information can be derived from existing publications, namely "National Income and Expenditure 1969", Tables 14 and 51; "Preliminary Estimates of National Income and Expenditure and Balance of Payments 1964 to 1969" (Cmnd. 4328) Tables 10 and 13; "Economic Trends" October, 1969 Tables A and L; and the "Digest of Statistics" March, 1970 Tables 1 and 7.
§ Mr. Alisonasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will show for 70W the years 1946, 1948, 1951 and 1958 to 1969, inclusive, and for the financial years 1945–46, 1948–49, 1951–52 and 1958–59 to 1969–70, inclusive, taxes on income, on capital, central government taxes on expenditure, local authority rates, National Insurance contributions, &c., and the total of these, the percentage of gross national product which each represented, the gross national product and the gross domestic product.
