§ Mr. Sillarsasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what is the total number of consultants working in National Health Service hospitals in Scotland; and how many are on part-time contracts.
§ Mr. Ross:At 30th September, 1968 there were 1,436 consultants, of whom 438 were on part-time contracts and 201 were university or Medical Research Council staff on honorary contracts.
