HC Deb 21 April 1970 vol 800 cc86-7W
Q6. Mr. Judd

asked the Prime Minister whether he will now make a statement on the machinery for consultation with Commonwealth Heads of Government on Great Britain's negotiations for entry to the European Economic Community.

The Prime Minister:

Consideration is currently being given to the best means of keeping other Commonwealth Governments in touch with the progress of the negotiations. So far as Heads of Government are concerned I would refer to my reply to a Question by the hon. Member for Banbury (Mr. Marten) on 3rd March.—[Vol. 797, c. 257–8.]
