§ Mr. Taverne:His income tax will be reduced by about 3s. a week assuming the children are under 11. As regards the second part of the Question, if my hon. Friend is assuming a reduction of 1s. in the standard rate as an alternative to the Budget proposals the tax reduction would be about 5d. a week.
