asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what proportion of the central Government expenditure on books and stationery printed and made on behalf of Her Majesty's Government in 1967–68 and 1968–69 was spent in Wales in each of the years from 1960 to 1970.

The proportion of expenditure on books and stationery printed and made by or to the order of Her Majesty's Stationery Office, spent in Wales in each of the years 1963–64 to 1969–70, was as follows:

Figures are not available for years earlier than 1963–64. A continuing contract for substantial supplies from one firm in Wales came to an end after the contractor ceased production in November, 1968.
