Mr. Gwynfor Evans

asked the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity how many male employees there are in Carmarthenshire; and what are the figures for the comparable months in 1964 and 1960.

Mr. Dell:

The estimated numbers of male employees, employed and unemployed, in Carmarthenshire at June, 1968, June, 1964, and June, 1960, were 34,300, 36,000 and 38,600, respectively. Estimates for June, 1969, are expected to become available next month and I will write to the hon. Member at the time.
