HC Deb 20 April 1970 vol 800 c25W
78. Mr. Onslow

asked the Minister of Transport how many cyclists under eight years of age have been killed or injured in accidents on public roads in each of the past four years.

Mr. Bob Brown:

Following are the figures for 1966–68:

Killed Seriously Injured
1966 18 262
1967 16 296
1968 20 303

Figures for slight casualties are not available for the above years. Comparable data for 1969 have not yet been collated, but I will write to the hon. Member when they are ready.
