HC Deb 17 April 1970 vol 799 c295W
Lord Hamilton

asked the Secretary of State for Defence what is the number of members of the Ulster Defence Regiment on active service to the latest date; and what proportion of the armouries required by the Regiment are in use or ready for use to the latest date.

Mr. Hattersley

As regards the present enlisted strength of the Ulster Defence Regiment I would refer the hon. Member to the answers I gave him on Wednesday, 15th April. Seven of the 15 armouries required by the Regiment are in use now and the balance are ready.—[Vol. 799, c.248.]
