asked the Secretary of State for Defence (1) what future redundancies among civilian personnel will be caused by changes in the establishment at Bordon camp, in the Petersfield constituency; how these will be phased; what advance warning will be given to personnel concerned, how many can be re-employed in the camp; and if he will make a statement;

The study of the longterm accommodation of the Army in the United Kingdom is still in progress and final decisions on the units to be located at Bordon and Longmoor have still to be taken. An announcement will be made as soon as our plans are finalised.
