asked the Minister of Overseas Development whether the powered barges being provided for the Turks and Caicos Islands can be put into service before August, 1970.

As I informed the hon. Gentleman on 22nd January, only one barge is on order. The delivery date must depend partly on the manufacturers and party on the shipping facilities available, but it is unlikely that the barge can be put into service before August, 1970.—[Vol. 794, c. 678.]
