HC Deb 16 April 1970 vol 799 c292W
Mr. Corfield

asked the President of the Board of Trade why it is necessary to hold the current hearings of the Roskill Commission in the Picadilly Hotel; how long these hearings are expected to last; and what is the cost of hiring such hotel accommodation.

Mr. Goronwy Roberts

Out of several possible locations, the Piccadilly Hotel was found to be the most suitable for the particular needs and circumstances of the hearings. The period is expected to be between three and four months. It is not the practice to disclose the cost of hiring such accommodation.
