§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether, in the interests of the general public and to enable patients to change their National Health Service doctors, he will now publish the names and addresses of the 12 National Health Service doctors who have been over-prescribing drugs.
§ Mr. Elystan MorganNo. It would be improper for my right hon. Friend to publish the names of any doctors suspected to be over-prescribing drugs before they had been proved by the General Medical Council or any other statutory tribunal to be culpable.
