§ 44. Mr. Eadieasked the Secretary of State for Scotland how many Crown properties that come under his jurisdiction carry with them feuduty; and on how many recent properties he has imposed a feuduty.
§ Mr. RossExcluding the Old Town of Inveraray, there are 942 properties under my jurisdiction which carry a feuduty. The buildings in the Old Town of Inveraray are of historical importance and are feued at a nominal rate to the Town Council. Since July, 1969, when the White Paper on the reform of land tenure in Scotland was published, I have created240W feuduties over four properties: two of these carry only a nominal feuduty.
