asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food why, in the recent Price Review White Paper, he did not accept the proposals of the Milk Marketing Board to revise the basis on which the standard quantity is calculated, relating it to factors other than the liquid market alone and to improve the realisation for manufacturing milk by stricter control of imports; and whether he intends to take action in this matter in the near future.

I shall be having further discussions with the Indus- borough. The sums to be made available in subsequent phases of the programme will be decided on the basis of further bids from local authorities.
