HC Deb 14 April 1970 vol 799 cc226-7W
Mrs. Ewing

asked the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity what representations she has received about the proposed Commission for Industry and Manpower; and what reply she has sent.

Mr. Dell

I would refer the hon. Member to the reply given to my hon. Friends the Members for Stoke-on-Trent, South (Mr. Ashley) and for Watford (Mr. Raphael Tuck) on 26th March. Since then I have received a statement from the General Council of the Scottish T.U.C. Part of the statement dealing with the Commission for Industry and Manpower welcomes the proposed legislation and calls for no particular reply.
