§ Mr. Arthur Pearsonasked the Secretary of State for Wales if he will make an investigation into the daily failure of traffic during rush hours to filter expeditiously through the roundabout on the Treforest Industrial Estate near Upper Boat and which prevents good access for workers going to and from their employment.
§ Mr. George ThomasStage II of the improvement of the A470 road for which the contract is about to be let includes the construction on the site of a much larger roundabout complex. This should eliminate the congestion occurring at peak periods. I do not think that a further investigation now would help to alleviate the position.
