HC Deb 13 April 1970 vol 799 c167W
Mr. Higgins

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will estimate the number of National Insurance Act graduated contribution tables that have been dispatched by the Inland Revenue within the last 12 months to employers who have no employees in the graduated contribution scheme; and what has been the cost of producing and issuing these forms.

Mr. Taverne

No estimate can be made. The Inland Revenue does not know which employers operating P.A.Y.E. will not have any employee who earns more than £9 in a week.
