asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what are the average size farm holdings in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales, respectively, at the latest convenient date.

The figures, which relate to agricultural holdings exceeding one acre in extent (one acre or more in Northern Ireland), are as follows:
