§ Sir W. Bromley-Davenportasked the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity if, in view of the concern amongst employers about the Construction Industry Training Board's proposed occupational-based levy in spite of the modifications made following representations, she will give further consideration to the matter with a view to more control from industry direct and with powers to control its own finances and responsibility for these matters.
§ Mr. DellMy right hon. Friend has approved the Board's proposals and the relevant Levy Order was laid on 19th March. The Board is already constituted so as to reflect the different interests of the industry it serves.
