asked the Secretary of State for Social Services, if he will publish the new salary scales of each grade of nurses.

The following are the scales which have so far been issued to employing authorities. These cover the largest groups of staff. The rest of the scales will appear in a Whitley Council Circular which I will send the hon. Member a copy as soon as it is published.
