§ Mr. MasonI have made nine overseas visits in fulfilment of my responsibilities as President of the Board of Trade including visits to European countries, the Far East and the U.S.A. and Canada. It would be impracticable to cost these visits individually, but I am satisfied that they have achieved their purpose in promoting goodwill and mutual understanding with our trading partners in several important markets for British exports.
