Mr. Hector Hughesasked the Prime Minister if he is aware of the increasing competition suffered by British fishing fleets from foreign fishing ships in British waters and otherwise; and, in order to protect the British fishing industry, if he will take steps to separate the Ministry of Fisheries from the Ministry of Agriculture and place it under a separate Minister.
