§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity whether she is aware that the price of motor oil has been increased by 2d. per pint because of the increased price of the tin can containers, and that for the same reason the price of all tinned food is liable to rise by 1d. to 2d. per tin; and whether she will take steps to have these price increases investigated.
§ Mr. DellMy right hon. Friend the Minister of Technology advised me that the recent increases in the price of tin can containers were rendered unavoidable by the the higher cost of raw materials.
