Mr. Edward Lyons

asked the Secretary of State for Local Government and Regional Planning if he will make a statement about the membership of the Yorkshire and Humberside Economic Planning Council.

Mr. Crosland

As the period of appointment of some members expires at the end of March and there are also some vacancies, I have reviewed the membership and appointed a few new members. I am circulating a full list of the members of the council in the OFFICIAL REPORT. I am glad to take this opportunity to pay tribute to the excellent work done by those members who have served hitherto.
