§ Mr. Hector Hughesasked the Minister of Transport if he will make a statement on the nature and progress of the work undertaken by the Government to improve and enlarge the potentialities and modernisation of Aberdeen Harbour.
§ Mr. MurrayImprovements are the responsibility of the Aberdeen Harbour Board. It has reconstructed Blaikie's Quay with the help of grants from my right hon. Friend totalling £190,000. I understand my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Scotland is granting £60,000 towards improvements in the fishery section of the harbour, where further developments are being considered.
