Mr. Prior

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he is aware that exports of spirituous cosmetic and toiletry preparations are being lost to the extent of several million pounds per annum because of the current regulations requiring that the spirit used on the home market be marked with Methyl Alcohol which is banned in most other countries and the uneconomic situation of producing a different formula for export only; and if he will take steps to remove this obstacle.
