§ Mr. Hector Hughesasked the Lord President of the Council what steps he proposes to take to improve the acoustic arrangements in the House of Commons, following the communication sent to him by the hon. and learned Member for Aberdeen, North on this subject on 29th September.
§ Mr. PeartWork on equipment in the Chamber to improve the audibility of speakers was begun during the Summer Recess. The work will be completed in the Christmas Recess.
