Mr. Carter-Jones

asked the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications what progress has been made to increase the supply of vandal-proof telephone kiosks; whether a larger number of vandals are now being caught; what further action he is taking to ensure that this public service is constantly available for personal and business use as well as for emergencies; and if he will make a statement.

asked the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications if he will consider extending public telephone facilities on private premises and undertaking a publicity campaign to advise the public of these facilities; and if he will make a statement.

asked the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications what plans he has to improve the efficiency of the telephone service.

asked the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications how many raids have taken place on sub-post offices during the second quarter of the 1969–70 financial year.
